Alarming data has emerged from National Crime Records Bureau , as 9.2% increase in nationwide crimes against children.
Comparing data of one year since 2022 till 2023, Telangana reports highest count of cases of 1,83,644 cases recorded under IPC and special laws, contributing 2.9 % of total national crimes volution. In a population of 1 lakh children, 39.9 children suffer crimes. The state topping on Crime Against Children is Uttar Pradesh contributing a total 12.7% of the crimes against children.
